Warden Clinton Duffy at the 1950 International Convention

This recording from the Alcoholics Anonymous International Convention at Cleveland, Ohio from 1950 features non-alcoholic Warden Clinton Duffy speaking. Clinton Duffy was the warden of the San Quentin Prison in San Francisco from 1940-1952. He was instrumental in bringing reform into the prison system. San Quentin Prison was the first prison in the country to have a group of Alcoholics Anonymous!

(The quality of the recording is poor at first and improves about 1 minute in)
